Andrew Novak is at a career-high no. 41 and in his second week in the Hawley Ratings top 50. Novak, 30, from South Carolina, has three very strong finishes in a row, after winning the Zurich with teammate Ben Griffin a week ago, losing to Justin Thomas in a playoff in the Heritage a week earlier, and finishing third in the Valero Texas the first weekend in April.
Chris Gotterup, a 25-year-old with background in Oklahoma and New Jersey, makes his first appearance in the Hawley Ratings top 200 this week at no. 180 after his 15th-place finish in the CJ Cup Nelson last weekend. Gotterup has been up and down in 2025, his second year on the Tour. He has five top-20s, including the last three in a row, in 15 appearances this season. Also he’s missed six cuts. He’s from New Jersey and attended Rutgers. He transferred to the University of Oklahoma in 2021, where he won the 2022 Haskins Award and Jack Nicklaus Award as the top college golfer.
