Zurich Classic of New Orleans Power Ratings

The PGA Tour’s annual team event, the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, is being contested this week. They’re at TPC Louisiana in the New Orleans metro area town of Avondale. Four teams stand out against the rest — the defending champions Xander Schauffele & Patrick Cantlay, Collin Morikawa & Max Homa, Sungjae Im & Keith Mitchell, and the returning runners-up Sam Burns & Billy Horschel.

Schauffele and Cantlay are the two highest-ranked individuals in the field per the Hawley Ratings, and they finished third and fourth, respectively, in the RBC Heritage last week. Morikawa-Homa is a new pairing after both finished back in the pack with other partners last year. Likewise Im-Mitchell is a new team after Im finished in the pack and Mitchell missed the cut last year.

Horschel plays the event every year and has three top-five finishes in the last four years, including the 2018 win with Scott Piercy.
